Commentary
This play shows in detail a situation that the prievous play talked about. The scholar is closing into the grappling distance using priest's special longpoint, and the priest retreats in quarta custodia. The priest wants to retreat out of measure, so he is backing away end the scholar has to chase him.
The second image is showing the scholar chasing the priest with schutzen in place - because the priest can strike from above at any moment, and scholar needs to have this preemptively covered. Because the scholar tries to close in, it would probably be considered a siege.
Text says that the priest omits his actions - he doesn't strike, he doesn't take the bind as the previous play was showing. So when the scholar is able to get into contact distance, he immediatelly switches into a thrust, which is in line with all "omitting the bind" plays.
