This play shows an in-tempo counterattack, similar to the one from previous play, but this time possibly aiming lower.

The defence is similar, but this time using a low schutzen

The last image shows another way how to defend the in-tempo counterattack. Instead of defending the scholar's sword, the priest will hit his shield with schiltslack, pressing it down or to the side. Because scholar's hands are crossed, it will push down both his hands, defeating the thrust. The priest can then launch a thrust of his own.
